About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced, growing organisation within the credit hire industry. This role offers a dynamic working environment and the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
As a Fleet Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a fleet currently consisting of 1,000+ vehicles, with plans to double in size over the coming months. Your responsibilities will focus on cost recovery, vehicle maintenance coordination, and penalty charge processing, all while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate vehicle maintenance checks, ensuring prompt service and fair cost management.
- Manage delivery and return (defleet) of hire vehicles, including negotiation of end-of-contract charges.
- Process and dispute penalty charge notices and speeding fines, recovering associated costs from clients.
- Raise and track invoices related to admin fees and penalties.
- Manage payments via Worldpay, arranging payment plans or initiating debt recovery when necessary.
- Assess vehicle damage and determine client liability, with a focus on minimizing aging debt.
Essential Skills
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
- Confident, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using Outlook, Excel, and analysing reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Prior experience in debt recovery
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance or the automotive industry
- Background in credit hire, rental, or related industries
