You will lead through department heads, ensuring outstanding service and strong financial performance while embedding a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a sizeable depot or similar operation.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance.
• Experience leading through managers and developing future leaders.
• Passion for continuous improvement and improving operational performance.
• Ability to balance customer expectations with operational delivery and commercial outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading a flagship depot operation and delivering outstanding operational performance.
• Taking ownership of depot profitability, budgets and year-on-year performance improvement.
• Leading and developing a team of department heads to create high-performing teams.
• Ensuring all departments work together to efficiently fulfil customer requirements and deliver excellent service.
• Driving a customer-first culture and ensuring customers remain at the heart of everything we do.
• Optimising fleet utilisation, resource planning and operational productivity.
• Using data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making and performance improvement.
