Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a General Manager for the Southampton depot to lead a flagship operation, drive profitability, customer satisfaction and people leadership.

You will manage a team of department heads, develop leaders, and ensure delivery of exceptional service, fleet optimization, and data-driven performance. This high-impact role offers a £60,000pa base (DOE), a company car or £8,750 cash allowance, private medical care and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a sizeable depot, operational business unit or similar.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets and performance.
• Experience developing leaders and high-performing teams.
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ability to balance customer expectations with operational delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
