Job summary

POP MART UK CORPORATION LTD is opening a brand-new flagship store in London. The BOH Stock Manager will lead the back-of-house stock operation, ensuring accuracy, timely deliveries, and compliant stockrooms while coaching the BOH team.

The role requires a commercially minded retail leader who can translate stock and loss-prevention standards into daily actions, collaborating with store leadership to support stock-related goals and seasonal initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing stock operations and a team in fast-paced retail.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills to motivate staff.
  • Commercial focus on stock accuracy and operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage inventory systems, reporting, cycle counts and loss prevention.
  • Multi-lingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own stock file accuracy, manage faulty stock, returns and SKU discrepancies.
  • Run cycle counts and physical stock checks with minimal discrepancies.
  • Deliver against shrinkage KPIs with clear action plans and processes.
  • Oversee deliveries, receiving, checking, put-away and stockroom organisation.
  • Provide daily stock position updates to store/department managers.
  • Act as link between BOH and FOH, ensuring smooth handoffs.
  • Coach and develop the BOH team with regular feedback and growth plans.
  • Ensure compliance with trading standards, health and safety, and SOPs.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with the VM Team, Floor Managers and sales floor team to ensure product moves efficiently from delivery through to the customer, while keeping the stockroom compliant, organised and audit-ready at all times.The position requires an experienced, commercially minded retail leader who can take ownership of stock performance within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The BOH Stock Manager helps translate company stock and loss-prevention standards into daily execution, acting as the link between the stockroom and the shop floor.A key focus of this role is leading, coaching and developing the BOH team, and role-modelling an organised, accountable culture that supports the wider store's performance.
