Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join East SILC for a fixed-term contract of 35 hours per week. The role is based at East SILC, Jack Clark, with duties across the organisation's sites in Leeds as needed to support learners with a range of needs.

Qualifications

• Experienced, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant supporting learners with diverse needs (autism, PMLD, communication difficulties).
• Willing to learn, adaptable, good communicator and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning for learners with special educational needs across multiple sites.
• Assist with personal care and health-related needs as required by learners.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to address individual learner requirements.
