As our Community Coordinator in Cheshire West, you'll play a key role in shaping activities that make a lasting difference to people's wellbeing.

About the role

Working across Ellesmere Port, Neston and other local areas, you'll coordinate and deliver a varied programme of activities that reflects the interests and needs of local older people. Every day is different, giving you the opportunity to use your creativity, initiative and people skills to develop engaging community opportunities.

You’ll:
  • Coordinate and deliver a range of community activities that promote friendship, wellbeing and independence.
  • Develop new groups and activities based on local need and participant feedback.
  • Support existing activities, including social groups, lunch clubs, outings and wellbeing sessions.
  • Coordinate the administration of activities, including bookings and attendance records.
  • Manage established activities such as our lunch clubs at Ellesmere Port and Neston
  • Prepare and serve light refreshments, with some activities involving food preparation or lunch clubs depending on local need and funding.
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
