NHS Scotland seeks an enthusiastic Senior/Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join their award-winning team at Ninewells Hospital. This role offers the chance to develop advanced clinical skills in various surgical settings. Applicants must be dynamic team players and either registered Independent Prescribers or working towards the qualification. Part-time applicants are welcome.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist to join our well-established, multi-award-winning surgery and orthopaedic clinical pharmacy team at Ninewells Hospital.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will develop your clinical skills and knowledge to practice at an advanced level across various settings such as General, Vascular, and Urology surgery, the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Theatre Admission Suite. You will be supported to develop skills across all pillars of advanced practice - clinical practice, education, leadership, and research. This role offers excellent support from our clinical pharmacy team and opportunities to gain further experience in critical care, surgical, and orthopaedic frailty teams. No previous experience is required.
You must be a dynamic team player, either a registered Independent Prescriber or working towards the qualification, and either working towards advanced practice or have experience at an equivalent level.
The post requires contribution to on-call, weekend, and public holiday rotas as per service needs.
*Appointment to the appropriate post/banding will depend on the criteria met in the person specification.
Hours of work: 37 hours over 7 days. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
