An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist to join our well-established and multi-award-winning surgery and orthopaedic clinical pharmacy team at Ninewells Hospital.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge to practice at an advanced level across various settings such as General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Urology, the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and the Theatre Admission Suite. You will be supported to develop skills across all pillars of advanced practice—clinical practice, education, leadership, and research. This role offers excellent support from our clinical pharmacy team and the chance to further your knowledge in areas such as critical care, surgical, and orthopaedic frailty teams. No previous experience is required.
Candidates must be dynamic team players who are either registered Independent Prescribers or working towards this qualification. You should also be working towards advanced practice or have equivalent experience.
The post holder will be required to contribute to the on-call, weekend, and public holiday rotas as per service requirements.
Appointment to the appropriate post/banding will depend on the criteria met in the person specification.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week over 7 days. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
