Position: Senior/Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Band 7/8a (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist to join our well-established and multi-award-winning surgery and orthopaedic clinical pharmacy team at Ninewells Hospital.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and practice at an advanced level across various settings including General, Vascular, and Urology surgery, the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Theatre Admission Suite. You will be supported to develop and enhance skills across all pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, education, leadership, and research. This is a rewarding role with excellent support from our clinical pharmacy team. You will also gain experience in other clinical areas such as critical care, surgical, and orthopaedic frailty teams. No previous experience is required.
Requirements include being a dynamic team player, either a registered Independent Prescriber or working towards this qualification, and working towards or having experience at an advanced practice level.
The post requires contributing to the on-call, weekend, and public holiday rotas as per service needs.
*Appointment to the appropriate post/banding will depend on criteria met in the person specification.
Hours of work are 37 hours over a 7-day week. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
