Position: An exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Substance Misuse at Caley Court, Stevenston. This is a 12-month fixed-term role.
What you will do:
Work as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber within NHS Ayrshire and Arran Specialist Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services, leading in clinical pharmacy prescribing and review for substance misuse patients. Responsibilities include providing clinical care, assessing, reviewing, and initiating treatment for patients.
Knowledge, training, and experience required:
Develop advanced knowledge in substance misuse, addiction, and mental health disorders. Provide expert advice, monitor and develop service provision, ensure evidence-based practice, and contribute to pharmaceutical service improvements. Responsible for the safe, cost-effective use of medicines.
Hours: 37 hours per week with flexible working across NHS Ayrshire and Arran, mainly based in North Ayrshire.
