Panda is seeking a hands-on Fixed Plant Fitter to maintain and repair fixed plant machinery at our waste management site. You will service conveyors, shredders and related plant systems, diagnose faults, and minimise downtime through proactive maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in plant or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of fixed plant machinery such as conveyors/shredders.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Relevant maintenance or mechanical qualifications advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment.
• Inspecting, servicing and repairing machinery such as conveyors, shredders and associated plant systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, replacements or adjustments to minimise downtime.
• Supporting preventative maintenance activity to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used and maintenance activity.
• Working closely with the wider maintenance, engineering and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Identifying opportunities to improve plant performance, safety and efficiency.
• Supporting a clean, safe and compliant working environment.
