Job summary

Panda is seeking a Fixed Plant Fitter to help keep our waste management facility running safely and efficiently. You will carry out maintenance on fixed plant machinery, inspect conveyors and shredders, and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant maintenance or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of fixed plant machinery, conveyors or shredders.

• Hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Relevant qualifications in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant machinery.
• Inspect, service and repair conveyors, shredders and related systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support preventive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Maintain safety and site procedures.
• Record inspections, repairs and parts used.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and operations teams.
