Panda is seeking a hands‑on Fixed Plant Fitter to maintain and service fixed plant and machinery at our waste management site. You will work on conveyors, shredders, and other plant systems, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role emphasizes practical problem solving, reliable operations, and collaboration with maintenance and operations teams to keep the site running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in plant maintenance or mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of fixed plant machinery such as conveyors and shredders is advantageous.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work hands‑on in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment.
• Inspect, service and repair conveyors, shredders and related plant systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs, replacements or adjustments to minimise downtime.
• Support preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with site procedures and safety rules.
