Job summary

The Lowry Hotel Ltd in Manchester seeks a Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to lead the Conference and Banqueting team and ensure flawless events. You will oversee room setup, supervise staff, and coordinate F&B service to meet five‑star standards.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in conference or banqueting/f&b ops, with strong communication and organisational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for guest excellence. Evening/weekend working may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference and banqueting or food & beverage operations preferred.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills required.
• Strong eye for detail; able to lead, motivate and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup and preparation of function rooms and events.
• Supervise and support the events team; brief staff before events.
• Coordinate food and beverage service and guest requirements.
• Monitor service quality, cleanliness and presentation; handle guest enquiries.
