Job summary

The Gym Group is seeking a Fitness Manager for Nottingham Radford to support the General Manager in running the gym and to deputise when needed. You will champion our member-first culture, lead a team of fitness trainers and develop the group exercise offering while ensuring high service levels and excellent health & safety standards.

You will balance on-site responsibilities with opportunities to PT within your hours, keeping 100% of earnings and contributing to the gym’s commercial success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading gym teams and driving member satisfaction.
• Proven ability to manage group exercise and class timetables.
• Strong focus on health & safety policies and daily checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-gym service offering to drive member satisfaction scores.
• Line management of fitness trainers and motivate team to perform at their best.
• Develop Group Exercise timetable and upskill team to deliver.
• Drive gym commercial performance with a results-driven mindset.
• Ensure high on-site standards through cleaning and maintenance checks with 3rd party suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and routine checks.
• Support General Manager with on-site admin tasks like rotas and time tracking.
• Act as a keyholder and call point in emergencies.
• Provide PT opportunities during employed hours with 100% earnings retention.
