Job summary
The Gym Group is seeking a proactive Fitness Manager for our Glasgow Forge Gym. You will support the General Manager to run daily operations, lead a team of fitness trainers and enhance member experience with engaging workouts and top-notch service.
You will own the class timetable, upskill the team, and focus on driving commercial performance while upholding health, safety and hygiene standards. Based in Glasgow Forge with opportunities for development.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead a team of fitness staff.
- Strong focus on member experience and engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced gym environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in daily gym operations.
- Lead and motivate fitness trainers to deliver high service standards.
- Develop and manage class timetable and upskill staff to run sessions.
- Drive commercial performance and optimise member engagement.
- Ensure high operational standards including cleaning, maintenance and safety checks.
- Assist with admin tasks such as rotas and time tracking.
- Act as a keyholder and respond to emergencies.
