Job summary

PureGym Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead a team and enhance member experience. You will work alongside the Gym Manager to deliver service excellence and drive membership growth.

This role offers structured career development, 40 hours per week, annual leave and bonus opportunities. You will develop staff, manage group exercise, and create a welcoming environment in line with our 'Everybody Welcome' ethos.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to bring in new joiners through different activities, including club outreach and community events.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, proactively develop a talent pipeline, train and supervise a team of Personal Trainer/Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors.
• Deliver an excellent member experience in the club through a constant focus on service and standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for fitness staff to enhance their skills and career growth.
• Group Exercise: manage and improve GEX offering within the gym.
