Job summary
The Gym Group in Richmond is seeking a Fitness Manager to support the General Manager at HEADQUARTERS gym. You will lead the fitness team, drive member engagement, and uphold our service standards while embodying our values and culture.
Ideal candidates hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (or are studying for it) and will develop the timetable, manage staff, and ensure excellent health and safety compliance. Flexible contracts are available to suit your needs.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification or working towards it.
- Experience leading gym teams and driving member engagement.
- Strong focus on health & safety and daily operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-gym service to drive member satisfaction.
- Line manage the fitness trainer team and motivate staff.
- Develop the class timetable and upskill the team to deliver.
- Improve gym performance and drive commercial results.
- Ensure high operational standards, cleaning, and maintenance checks.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers and manage on-site admin tasks.
- Act as a keyholder for emergencies and support the GM.
