Job summary

DHL UK Supply Chain is seeking a proactive Planning First Line Manager to lead and develop the Planning team across the UK Inbound operation, ensuring timely collections are planned for our vendors.

You will streamline processes, align inbound and outbound activities, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative culture that drives cost savings and service excellence. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of transport planning are essential.

• Previous team supervision/management experience required.
• Experience using Paragon Planning tool desirable.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

We're now looking for a Planning First Line Manager to lead and oversee the Planning team across the UK Inbound operation, ensuring timely collections are planned for all UK vendors.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the Planning team and play a key role in the development of people and processes across the account areas. Your leadership will inspire and motivate our team to reach new heights!
• Streamline Processes: Lead and support the Vendor Communication team to ensure collections are agreed and planned for the following day.
• Bring together the Inbound and Outbound operations to create synergies and cost savings.
• Monitor Performance: Track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed our goals.
• Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability, and teamwork. Together, we'll achieve great results!
• To ensure strong and effective relationships are maintained with both customer and account team.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
