DHL Supply Chain, Birmingham, is looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead a small team on the night shift (10pm–6am), Monday to Friday, for a 6-month secondment. You will oversee stock accuracy, drive productivity and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

Responsabilités

• Ensure daily duties and processes are completed to maintain high service levels.
• Lead focus on productivity, ensure targets are met, and communicate with customers on stock issues.
• Facilitate effective handovers and escalate where appropriate across shifts.
• Complete investigations in line with HR policy and communicate policies to the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Management of stock accuracy across the site with a small team of warehouse colleagues. Meeting deadlines and targets as set within the daily/weekly/monthly Inventory Routine.
• Ensure that all daily duties, procedures and processes are completed and adhered to on a day to day basis and to ensure a high level of service is received by each customer.
• Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels and ensure targets are met. Daily communication with both customers on site regarding stock discrepancies and rework activities.
• Facilitate effective communication - Effective handovers, escalations where appropriate, liaise with all departments across all shifts.
• Complete full investigations as needs dictate in line with HR policy - Ensuring process adherence, ensuring HR policies are communicated to the team.
