Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in Runcorn is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead our night shift operations and drive efficiency.

You will supervise daily warehouse activities, ensure safety compliance, monitor KPIs, and develop a high-performing team.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary in the 30k–35k range plus a 20% shift premium, plus strong benefits including a pension and health support.

• Extensive warehouse/logistics experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of stock control and inventory management.
• Competent IT skills including WMS and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment in a similar role is essential.
• Strong operational knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes.
• Good understanding of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Competent IT skills, including experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
