Job summary

A leading utility company in Dumfries is seeking an Emergency Gas Responder to ensure the safety of customers. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and relevant ACS qualifications, along with a valid driving license. This role involves working independently, problem-solving, and engaging with customers in their homes. Qualifications

• Working independently on a rota, including out of hours and weekend working.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to ensure customer safety in homes.
• Deliver gas safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Travel in your own SGN van to customer locations.

You will need…

• A friendly and approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing with members of the public
• A current ACS qualification, CCN1 or CESPI, and ideally MET1 to 4 (although this is not essential to apply for the role)
• A full and valid driving licence is essential
• You will be working on a rota, meaning out of hours and weekend working is standard.
