Job summary

A leading gas utility company is seeking an Emergency Gas Responder to maintain customer safety in their homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a valid ACS qualification. You will work independently, solve problems, and engage with the public. The position offers a base salary of £43.4k, with increased earning potential through standby and overtime. Employees are supported with training opportunities and a competitive benefits package, including a pension scheme.

• A current ACS qualification, CCN1 or CESPI, ideally MET1 to 4.
• A full and valid driving licence is essential.

Base salary: £43.4k per annum (increase to £44.1k upon successful completion of probationary period)

You will need…

• A friendly and approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing with members of the public
• A current ACS qualification, CCN1 or CESPI, and ideally MET1 to 4 (although this is not essential to apply for the role)
• A full and valid driving licence is essential
• You will be working on a rota, meaning out of hours and weekend working is standard.
