Job summary

Graphcore Bristol offers a 12-week Firmware Engineering Internships focused on firmware for AI hardware. You will work closely with silicon and hardware teams, contributing to software that supports bootup, telemetry and monitoring.

You’ll gain hands-on experience writing code, conducting unit tests, and using real hardware to connect software decisions to physical signals. Interact with experienced engineers and learn the codebase and development standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Maths or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for Graphcore’s next‑gen products.
• Write code and unit tests for firmware components.
• Investigate hardware behavior using logs, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
