Graphcore invites you to join its 12-week Firmware Engineering Internship in Bristol. You will work on real projects, applying your coursework to practical firmware challenges and learning in a team that supports your growth.

You’ll contribute to firmware for next‑generation AI hardware, write code and unit tests, and gain hands‑on experience with hardware debugging and telemetry. A chance to explore a career in embedded software at Graphcore.

Qualificações

• Pursuing bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in computer science, electronic engineering, maths or related field.
• Introductory programming experience in C or Python with some CI/build systems awareness.
• Practical, methodical approach to problem solving and ability to organise work.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to document complex designs.

Responsabilidades

• Write code and develop unit tests for firmware.
• Investigate hardware behaviour using logs, test equipment and debugging tools.
• Contribute to a shared codebase and understand how software decisions affect hardware.
• Collaborate with silicon, hardware and software teams across Graphcore.
