Job summary

Graphcore in Bristol invites you to join its Manufacturing Operations team for a 12-week Summer Internship 2027. You’ll work on real projects around silicon packaging or printed circuit board assembly, applying your engineering foundations to help move hardware from design into manufacture.

You’ll analyse data, investigate issues, review BOMs, and support quality planning while being mentored by experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor or electronics design and manufacturing principles.
• Some experience using programming or technical tools such as Python, Linux, Bash or Git.

Responsibilities

• Put your engineering foundations to work exploring how advanced AI hardware moves from design into manufacture.
• Support silicon packaging or PCB assembly production in Taiwan by analyzing data and assisting in quality planning.
• Review component information or bills of materials and help assess manufacturing performance for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing challenges and contribute to data-driven decisions.
