Job summary

Graphcore invites you to join a 12-week Manufacturing Operations Summer Internship in Bristol. You’ll gain hands-on experience on real projects, applying engineering fundamentals to move AI hardware from design to manufacture. Expect to support silicon packaging and PCB assembly initiatives, analyze data, and assist with quality and process checks.

You’ll work with teams in the UK, Taiwan and India, guided by experienced engineers who help you learn and grow through feedback and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor or electronics design and manufacturing principles.
• Some experience using programming or technical tools such as Python, Linux, Bash or Git.

Responsibilities

• Put your engineering foundations to work exploring how advanced AI hardware moves from design into manufacture.
• Contribute to a defined project or set of tasks supporting silicon packaging or printed circuit board assembly production in Taiwan.
• Analyse performance data, help investigate hardware or software issues, or support quality planning and process checks.
