Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is recruiting an experienced Fire Stopping Manager for a permanent role in Bristol. The role covers project planning, supervision of site operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have proven fire stopping expertise, knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and strong leadership skills to oversee multiple projects and teams on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire stopping and fire safety remediation.
• Strong understanding of fire-stopping systems and materials.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and British Standards.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to inspect installations and ensure compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee fire-stopping works across projects.
• Manage operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Inspect installations to ensure standards.
• Ensure RAMS and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate materials and keep installation records.
• Monitor progress and maintain budgets.
• Support building safety improvements and remedial works.
