Job summary

SLR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Stopping Installation Manager to lead installation teams across UK-wide projects. The role centres on delivering safe, high-quality passive fire protection installations while coordinating with clients, site teams and contractors.

Based on projects around the UK with travel, the position offers a permanent contract, a competitive salary and overtime opportunities. A strong focus on safety and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping.
• Experience leading installation teams and coordinating field activity.
• Strong knowledge of fire stopping systems and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proactive, hands-on leader focused on quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire stopping installation teams and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Plan labour, materials and site activities to meet schedules.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specs and industry standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and manage project documentation.
• Attend client and site coordination meetings and provide guidance.
• Promote health and safety standards across projects.
• Provide technical guidance to installation teams on site.
• Resolve on-site issues and maintain project programmes.
• Mentor team members to deliver high-quality service.
