Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple fire stopping projects across the UK. You will manage programmes, budgets and teams, ensuring safe, compliant delivery and profitable performance.

Key duties include coordinating labour and subcontractors, reading construction drawings, and maintaining close client communication to drive project success. A full UK driving licence and industry certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple construction projects with site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong grasp of project commercials: margins, variations, labour, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS Gold Card is required.
• Knowledge of FIRAS or LPCB is advantageous.
• Formal qualification in Construction Management or related discipline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple fire stopping installation, remediation and maintenance projects.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Produce and manage programmes of work and monitor performance against budget and margins.
• Manage project costs, variations, applications and commercial risks.
• Review profitability and implement corrective actions where required.
• Conduct site visits and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Health & Safety.
• Produce and review RAMS and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, principal contractors, and site teams to deliver projects successfully.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Support growth and development of the Fire Stopping Division.
