Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Working Fire Stopping Supervisor to cover the Slough/Heathrow area on an ongoing long-term contract. This hands-on role bridges active on-site installation, surveys, and driving project completion with digital sign-offs to hand over compliant installations to the client.

You will lead installation of penetration seals, ablations, collars, and mastic seals to manufacturer tests and passive fire protection standards, conduct site surveys, and

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.
FIRAS carded/accredited.
SSSTS or SMSTS certificate.
Hands-on experience with Onetrace for digital logging and compliance.
First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Hands-on Installation: install penetration seals, ablative batts, mastic seals, collars, wraps to standards.
Site Surveying & Scoping: conduct initial surveys and identify passive fire protection needs.
Digital Compliance & Sign-Off: log seals, capture photos, QA compliance in Onetrace.
End-to-End Delivery: oversee daily work quality, manage snagging, sign-offs to practical completion.
Site Safety & Coordination: lead toolbox talks, ensure health and safety, liaise with main contractor teams.
