Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer to cover North London, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. You will service and maintain fire and security systems, diagnose issues, and support clients while building lasting relationships.

The role includes a company vehicle for personal use, private healthcare, and a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 with overtime and weekend work. Manufacturer training is provided, with standby call-out rates and extra holiday days for

Qualifications

• 2+ years' industry experience in fire and security systems.
• Valid UK driving licence and trade cards such as ECS or IPAF/PASMA.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of current industry technology.
• Certified in relevant fire and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate service records and prepare reports on system performance
• Provide first-line technical support, diagnosing and resolving client issues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and support
• Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems to industry standards
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs
