Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Service Engineer in the North London area to join their team and cover parts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The role offers a base salary of £40,000–£45,000 with travel time paid, overtime, and a company vehicle.

Private healthcare and extra holiday days for attendance are also provided. The successful candidate will maintain, service and troubleshoot fire and security systems, provide timely responses to call-outs, and keep comprehensive service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in fire and security systems.
• Strong understanding of security and/or fire industry products.
• Valid UK driving licence and trade cards such as ECS or IPAF/PASMA.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to clients, diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Regular maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems, ensuring standards.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and support.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed system performance reports.
