Job summary

Arup is seeking a Fire Engineer to join our UK team and help deliver a growing portfolio of high-impact projects. You will work within our 400+ strong fire safety network across 20 offices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-in-class fire safety engineering services.

You’ll be supported in pursuing Chartered Engineer status where applicable, and benefit from a hybrid work model that supports flexible work-life integration while maintaining delivery of outstanding client

Qualifications

• Qualification in a relevant subject (fire engineering or related).
• Experience in a fire engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Knowledge of UK legislation and guidance in fire safety.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative problem-solver who can work with others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fire safety engineering services for clients across projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices and clients.
• Support career development towards Chartered Engineer status where applicable.
• Provide proactive solutions and guidance to project teams.
