Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Passive Fire Supervisor for three roles in Dudley (West Midlands). Immediate start, covering social housing and NHS projects across the region. You will supervise fire door and fire stopping works, ensure quality and BM TRADA compliance, and coordinate with site teams, clients and project staff.

The role requires SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and a full UK driving license. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and timely delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Passive Fire Supervisor within fire doors and fire stopping.
• Experience working within social housing or NHS environments.
• Strong understanding of BM TRADA, FIRAS or IFC compliance standards.
• Comfortable using SimPRO or similar systems.
• SSSTS or SMSTS required.
• CSCS Card required.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day delivery of passive fire works across social housing and NHS sites in Dudley.
• Oversee fire door and fire stopping works, ensuring installations meet standards.
• Manage and motivate operatives on site, organising workflow and maintaining programme.
• Record all activity in SimPRO with photos, asset records and data updates.
• Carry out quality assurance checks and obtain sign-off on site.
• Deliver toolbox talks, site inspections and equipment checks.
• Liaise with clients and building users to manage access and resolve on-site issues.
• Maximise resident access using best-practice engagement methods.
• Complete all required H&S documentation, RAMS and permits to work.

Passive Fire Supervisor - Dudley (x3 Positions)

Location: Dudley, West Midlands

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Package

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Passive Fire Supervisors to join one of the UK's fastest-growing fire safety specialists delivering works across the West Midlands. Three positions are available in Dudley with an immediate start, working across social housing and NHS environments as part of a growing regional team.

The Role

As Passive Fire Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of fire door and fire stopping works across social housing and NHS sites in and around Dudley. You will supervise operatives on site, ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained and act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and the wider project team. All works are recorded using SimPRO.

• Proven experience as a Passive Fire Supervisor within fire doors and fire stopping — essential
• Experience working within social housing or NHS environments — essential
• An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly first time
• Strong understanding of BM TRADA, FIRAS or IFC compliance standards
• Comfortable using SimPRO or similar systems — desirable
• SSSTS or SMSTS — required
• CSCS Card — required
• Full UK Driving Licence — required
