Job summary

SER Limited in the East Midlands is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer to service and maintain CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarm systems across commercial sites.

You’ll travel across the NG postcode area and surrounding region, work independently, and play a key role in keeping client systems compliant and fully operational. The role offers a competitive salary and extensive overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Fire & Security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.
• Experience servicing these systems in a commercial environment.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Willingness to travel across the NG postcode area and surrounding East Midlands region.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.
• Providing high-quality service to commercial clients, ensuring systems are safe, secure and compliant.
• Troubleshooting and repairing to minimise disruption to clients’ operations.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Completing service reports and relevant system documentation.
• Building strong working relationships with customers and site contacts.

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Fire & Security division and are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team covering the NG postcode area and surrounding region.

The Role

As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial properties throughout the NG postcode area.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our clients’ systems remain fully operational, reliable and compliant.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms
• Providing high-quality service to commercial clients, ensuring their systems are safe, secure and compliant

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience working with these systems within a commercial environment
