Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Fire and Security Service Engineer to service and maintain CCTV, access control and alarm systems across commercial properties in Coventry and surrounding areas.

You will ensure systems stay operational, compliant, and secure while delivering high-quality customer service and timely maintenance visits. The role offers overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.
• Proven experience working with these systems within a commercial environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems across Coventry and the surrounding region.
• Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to minimise disruption to clients’ operations.
• Completing service reports and relevant system documentation.
• Building strong working relationships with customers and site contacts.

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Fire & Security division and are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team covering Coventry and the surrounding areas.

The Role

• As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial properties throughout Coventry and the surrounding region.


• You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our clients’ systems remain fully operational, reliable and compliant.


• Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms


• Providing high-quality service to commercial clients, ensuring their systems are safe, secure and compliant


• Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs to minimise disruption to clients’ operations


• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits


• Completing service reports and relevant system documentation


• Building strong working relationships with customers and site contacts

Skills & Experience

• To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms


• Proven experience working with these systems within a commercial environment


• A Full UK Driving Licence


• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload


• Comfortable travelling across Coventry and the surrounding areas


• Good customer service and communication skills
