You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and troubleshooting fire alarm and life safety systems to BS 5839 standards, delivering a high-quality service to clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of BS 5839-1 and BS 5839-6 standards.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and system troubleshooting.
• Identify faults and recommend effective solutions to minimise system downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 5839 standards and related regulations.
• Complete service reports and maintain documentation accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear client communication.
• Manage workloads and attend appointments in a timely, professional manner.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and troubleshooting fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring they operate safely, reliably and in line with relevant British Standards.

You will be customer-focused, technically minded and able to work independently while delivering a professional, high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
