ABCA Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm systems, extinguishers and emergency lighting across commercial and industrial sites in the Croydon area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance.
• Experience with fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
• Familiarity with relevant British Standards is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm systems.

• Identify faults and carry out remedial works where required.
• Complete service reports and documentation using digital systems.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The main focus of the role will be servicing, maintaining and fault-finding fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting across commercial and industrial sites.

Experience with Warden Call systems would be a huge bonus , although it is not essential. We’re looking for someone reliable, technically competent and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm systems.

Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.

Identify faults and carry out remedial works where required.

Complete service reports and documentation using digital systems.

Provide a professional, customer-focused service.

Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota when required.

Proven experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance.

Experience with fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.

Good knowledge of relevant British Standards.

Full UK driving licence.

Good IT skills and the ability to work independently.

Warden Call systems – a major bonus!

Advanced and addressable fire alarm systems.

VESDA, Gent or Protec systems.

Kitchen suppression, PAVA, access control or door entry systems.

Relevant FIA training and ECS/CSCS card.
