Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a PLC developer on a busy residential project in Sussex. This freelance position supports the Site Manager and Project Manager, taking plots from 1st fix to completion.

The ideal candidate will oversee multiple trades, uphold H&S standards, and drive snagging and quality control on site for a long-term pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager with a developer.
• Strong knowledge of the build process from 1st fix to handover.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades on a fast paced site.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing plots from 1st fix through to completion.
• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations on site.
• Coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time and to standard.
• Ensuring H&S compliance across the site.
• Maintaining quality control and ensuring snagging is dealt with efficiently.
