Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie in Devon to join a luxury hotel kitchen. You will prepare and present high quality pastry dishes for two fine dining restaurants, working under the Head Pastry Chef to ensure COSHH and HACCP compliance, while training junior staff and maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Live-in accommodation is available, and the role offers a competitive salary with meals and staff parking.

Qualifications

• Fine dining pastry experience at a minimum of 2 AA Rosettes or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Preparing dishes to the highest standards of quality, safety and consistency.
• Preparing and presenting high quality, fine dining pastry dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients for 2 fine dining restaurants.
• Working closely with the Head Pastry Chef to ensure compliance in the pastry section in relation to COSHH and HACCP.
• Managing and training any junior members of staff working on your section whilst ensuring that both yourself and your team members have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety at all times.
