Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular boutique hotel in Lutterworth, Leicestershire and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie Pastry to join their team. As a Chef de Partie Pastry you would work alongside a talented Head Chef and Sous Chef, supervising the pastry team and producing desserts and pastry items to a high standard.

The role offers a competitive salary, gratuity scheme, and staff accommodation if required, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Qualifications

• Experience in a pastry role or similar kitchen setting.
• Ability to work to high standards with quality ingredients.
• Training and progression opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef in pastry production.
• Prepare desserts and pastry items to a high standard.
• Supervise Commis chefs and ensure portion and quality control.

What's involved?

As a Chef de Partie Pastry you would get the chance to work alongside an incredibly talented Head Chef. and Sous Chef You will be responsible for the Commis chefs, preparing food to a high level on a consistent basis in line with current menu specifications. You will be confident in accepting & checking the quality of ingredients from agreed suppliers. Candidates will stand a better chance if they have experience in a similar role, but training and the opportunity to progress within the company is given.
