Job summary

Saffron Vanilla are recruiting for a 4* Luxury hotel in the Cheshire countryside. The 120 bedroom property is in the heart of Cheshire.

The Hotel also boasts an Award winning aa rosette restaurant, large function suites, meeting rooms, leisure club and Championship Golf course. The role of Chef de Partie will require you to assist senior chefs in managing the day to day operation of the kitchen, helping produce excellent standards of cuisine for the restaurant, and taking charge of your section

Qualifications

• Must hold Food Safety Level 2 certification.
• Experience with fresh produce is essential.
• Background with AA Rosette standards is desirable.
• Experience and knowledge in safe systems of work.
• Experience in fine/high end dining is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Help produce high-standard cuisine for the restaurant.
• Be in charge of your section from setup to clean down.
• Support in training and recruitment of kitchen brigade.
• Creatively implement new dishes.
• Maintain alertness, vigilance and attention to detail.
• Undertake duties as determined by Head Chef.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain proactive attitude and comply with company policies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends; own transport is essential due to rural location.
