Job summary

Ansty Hall, part of Exclusive Collection, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade and deliver rosette-standard dishes in a busy country-house hotel.

You will manage a section, support junior chefs, ensure food safety and high quality, and contribute ideas to menus while maintaining calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• You’ll be an experienced Chef de Partie, or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
• You’ll bring confidence running a section within a quality hospitality environment.
• You’ll have strong culinary skills and excellent attention to detail.
• You’ll enjoy supporting and developing junior team members.
• You’ll be organised and able to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Organise and manage daily preparation and service within your area.
• Support, coach and develop Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs.
• Ensure excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen compliance.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and portion control throughout service.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and stock rotation processes.
• Work closely with the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Contribute ideas and creativity to menus, dishes and ways of working.
• Support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through outstanding food.
