InsurX is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure accurate reporting and scale financial operations as the business grows. This in-house, full-time role in the UK offers a competitive salary and builds on a strong foundation in accounting and controls.

You will own month-end close, consolidation, VAT, payroll, and statutory filings while ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House. Prior experience in tech and audits is mandatory.

Formación

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial accounting, controlling and reporting in a fast-growing tech company.
• Experience with audits or involvement in audits required.
• Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred).
• Able to use AI to optimise finance processes and handle large data in Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement scalable financial processes, controls and policies using AI and automation.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, journals and consolidation across subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with external accountants, advisors and HMRC.
• Own monthly management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Oversee revenue recognition, cash collection and partner payments with data teams.
• Handle quarterly VAT, monthly payroll and year-end statutory accounts.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House and German entity filing.
• Lead technical accounting topics with advisors (revenue recognition, share-based payments).
• Improve reporting and insights for the business.
