Job summary

HRtechX Ltd. in London is seeking a proactive Controller to own the company’s finances, budgets and reporting. You’ll work closely with the CEO, report to investors monthly, and help shape financial strategy in a fast-growing start-up environment.

We value an accounting background, ideally 2+ years at a Big Four, CFO/Head of Finance experience in small or mid-sized businesses, and permission to work in the UK. Experience in media and conferences is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Accounting background with relevant finance experience.
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance or Finance Director in a small/medium business.
• UK work permit (or right to work in the UK).
• Media/Conferences industry background is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning.
• Provide weekly cash-flow updates and monthly P&L and cash reporting.
• Review intercompany loans and ensure financial health.
• Participate in board meetings and report to investors.
