Job summary

InsurX Limited is seeking a Financial Controller to ensure accurate reporting and scalable financial operations for a fast-growing insurtech business in London. This in-house, full-time role focuses on driving better decision-making through strong controls and automation.

You will lead month-end close, accounting policy implementation, VAT/compliance, and consolidation across entities, while collaborating with Data Science and Revenue Operations teams to improve finance outputs.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in financial accounting, controlling and reporting in a fast-growing tech company.
• Auditing experience or involvement in audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve scalable financial processes, controls and policies using AI and automation.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, journals and group consolidation across subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with external accountants/advisors and HMRC.
• Own monthly management reporting including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
