Part-time Financial Controller wanted in Warrington
About the role:
The role is to work with our client based in Warrington in their growing retail business. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and provide greater visibility around the financials to help the business grow further. The successful candidate will need to ensure accurate reporting and maintain and improve robust financial controls.
About you:
You should be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
management accounts
balance sheet reconciliations
budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting
experience and working knowledge of Xero
experience of managing and leading a small team
experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
As this role is two days a week (self employed basis) it could work alongside other client work
Rate of pay: £35 per hour
Location: - Onsite 2 days p/week
