Job description

COMO Metropolitan London is an urban retreat located in Mayfair, featuring 144 bedrooms and 19 private residences. The hotel offers a sophisticated, accessible environment focused on simplicity and quality.

What you'll do:
  1. Submit monthly Management Accounts to hotel and corporate management by set deadlines, including the Managing Director’s commentary.
  2. Review Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
  3. Assist in preparing the annual budget, including Profit & Loss and Capital expenditure, in collaboration with Department Heads, the Cluster Finance Manager, and the Managing Director.
  4. Implement improvements based on Internal Audit recommendations.
  5. Conduct annual performance and salary reviews following company policies.
  6. Oversee daily department operations, allocate work, and ensure deadlines are met.
  7. Maintain security procedures to safeguard physical assets, inventories, and cash.
  8. Prepare quarterly VAT Returns for HMRC.
  9. Manage monthly PAYE payments to Inland Revenue.
  10. Gather data and prepare schedules for tax purposes as required by the Group Tax Accountant.
Who you are:
  1. Experienced in a similar financial role.
  2. Knowledge of Opera property management system is highly desirable.
  3. Proactive, positive, and self-motivated.
  4. Detail-oriented with a responsible and professional attitude.
  5. Team player with excellent communication skills.
