A growing, multi-entity SaaS business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial operations and ensure robust reporting across the group. The role will focus on delivering accurate consolidated accounts, supporting commercial decisions through high-quality financial insights, and maintaining compliance with international accounting and tax standards.

The right candidate will bring a depth of experience in managing revenue streams in recurring business models, particularly within SaaS or professional services, and be comfortable working in fast-paced, private equity-backed environments. We will consider candidates coming straight from practice looking for their first step into industry.

The Role:

• Deliver accurate consolidated financial reporting in line with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Manage the month-end close process and oversee preparation of financial statements.
• Lead on accounting for complex revenue streams including deferred and unbilled income.
• Drive implementation and optimisation of ERP systems (ideally Netsuite).
• Maintain oversight of transfer pricing compliance and manage tax obligations across jurisdictions.
• Support audits and ensure timely filing of statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting matters and support group-wide policy standardisation.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and process improvements.
• Manage a small finance team and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Support commercial teams with financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Lead financial due diligence and support integration where applicable.

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA essential).
• 3-5 years of experience in financial control roles, ideally within SaaS or other recurring revenue businesses.
• Demonstrable experience in international consolidations and multi-currency environments.
• Technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / ASC 606), and transfer pricing.
• Previous exposure to private equity-backed businesses preferred.
• Hands-on, proactive individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong systems knowledge, with Netsuite experience highly desirable.
• Able to work independently and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
